Vinyl Archiving
Spice Trader Records offers a vinyl archiving service, the only
company in Central Oregon that offers this type of service with
such high quality standards.
Did you sell your record player with the introduction of CDs?
Want those classic songs and albums on your iPod or MP3 player?
There are several reasons Central Oregonians bring us their
records to archive. We can put your vinyl onto CD, or in MP3
format for your iPod or MP3 player. Want to make a mix CD with
just a few songs from each record? We can do that too.
Our service is more than just a transfer of a record onto a CD.
We safely clean the surface of the record, place it in a new
inner acid-free paper sleeve and repackage it in a plastic
outer dust cover. Music from the record is cleaned up with most
clicks, pops and scratches removed, but without destroying the
classic vinyl record sound. Songs on the CD are tracked and
clearly labeled, plus we take a photo of the album cover and
print it directly onto the surface of your CD.
Rates start at $17.95 per record, extra copies of each record
are only $4.95 each.
